Anti-Doping-Law

In some countries, it already exists; in some it is under way; however, in most countries, it will never be adopted. Here, we talk about an Anti-Doping Law. Precursors in that respect are France, Italy, and Sweden. Spain followed, and even Germany agreed upon the punishability of the possession of drugs used for doping in sports. However, what do these laws regulate in detail? Where are the differences?
What sanctions do they provide for? Compare yourself! In the following, we compiled the links to the Anti-Doping Laws of the different countries for you:”

In doping cases athletes have limited rights.

Due to the profound consequences that an allegation of doping can have, the rules must be strictly observed. In this case, the FEI and the Judicial Committee have confirmed that things went wrong and, in doing so, they gave justice back to the athlete. In this case the B-sample was analysed without the presence of the athlete, despite the fact that the athlete has asked to be present.
As a result, the FEI Judicial Committee correctly found, that there has been a procedural error that is of the nature to compromise the limited rights of the athlete to an extend that the result of the B-sample analysis, and there fore the entire urine test, has to be disregarded and the proceedings are terminated.
Therefore, HH Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan Al Nayhan will receive the Gold medal and all relevant prizes won by him on the World Endurance Championship, held 27 January 2005 in Dubai.
